I am a graduate of Dalhousie University where I attained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. I began my corporate business career in 1980 with General Motors where I held positions in Sales, Distribution and Customer Service departments. I subsequently joined Spalding Canada and gained experience in sales and marketing initiatives before moving to Nestle Canada where I held various senior positions in Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Sales. In 2001 I entered the Executive Search industry where I remain active, focusing my efforts primarily on senior Sales and Marketing roles as well as non-profit organizations. I have also taught sales and marketing courses at George Brown community college and am a past board member of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. I build my practice of Gestalt Therapy on the following five key principles and beliefs that underscore my approach and which, I believe, qualify me as a therapist beyond traditional training and academic learning: - All clients are courageous
- The client must want to change
- True feelings are held within one's body
- Without hope the client will not heal
- Change, and therefore cure, is possible
